The Zmax Pro features a large 6-inch display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution and a pixel density of 367 pixels per inch. The phablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core chipset, something we don’t usually see in this price range. As far as memory goes, the Zmax Pro comes equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The company has provided a microSD card slot as well, so you can expand it further. However, it uses a hybrid slot, so you will be able to expand the storage further only if you use a single SIM card. If you wish to use two SIM cards, you will have to live with the 32GB onboard storage.

For the shutterbugs, the Zmax Pro offers a 13MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an LED flash. For selfies lovers, there is a 5MP camera on the front. Connectivity features include the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, and 4G LTE network support. It even comes with a USB Type-C port. For its price, the Zmax Pro comes with a very large 3,400mAh capacity battery which also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge for fast charging. Surprisingly, ZTE has included a fingerprint sensor at the back, which is a nice touch. The phablet impresses in the software department too, running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
